Simple Food

Today I helped out my sister-in-law Kate while promoting her new venture, Simple Food.  She set up a table at the “Light the Night Pink” event in Madison, CT, to raise money for a documentary on breast cancer.  We sold coconut sorbet with raspberry sauce, blueberry nut crumble, dark chocolate truffles, and maple ginger almonds, all of which were made from healthy, organic ingredients.  Here are some pictures!

Setting up the table.  Look at our cute pink jackets!  Mom Marie (Ed’s mom) did the flower arrangement.  How pretty!

Kate dishing out ice cream to a friend.

Me being my usually dorky self.

It was fun and busy.

I enjoyed talking to the people that came by.  It was nice to meet so many cancer survivors, and to help raise money for the cause.
