IB Mommy has been doing some scientific pie testing on her blog, which she called the Piesadential Debate. She came up with the idea to make my Butternut Squash Pie and also make her recipe for Sweet Potato Pie, using butternut squash. After some taste-tests by her family, they decided that my pie won the contest! I have to say, I’m very flattered and honored.
I think that was just the push I needed to enter my pie in the Guilford Fair! Now I’m off to complete the entry form… and then grade papers.

Congrats! I’ll have to give pie making a try now that I have all these peaches. =) Actually, I can make a pretty decent pumpkin pie. Mmmm . . . that’s one reason to look forward to fall, huh?
