Ed’s parents gave us these beautiful tulips last night when we had them over for supper. Today’s supposed to get up to 40 degrees, so I’m really thinking about spring now. But I won’t get too excited, it’s supposed to snow again on Tuesday.

I keep wearing bright, cheerful colored clothes to bring on Spring but it doesn’t seem to be working. What a bummer. I should get in to my seed starting book again today and determine exactly when I should be starting all these seeds. I can hardly wait!
Those are beautiful! Nothing makes you think of spring like tulips and daffodils. I’m “forcing” some tulip bulbs on my counter right now and can’t wait for them to flower. I’m also planning on putting my first pansies in the ground during April vacation, which has become somewhat of a tradition, or ritual, awaiting the arrival of spring.
I’m also excited about the possibility of SNOW again on Tuesday. After all, it’s still winter!
Thank you Ed and Ab for a very nice evening and dinner was really really good, good company, good food and pink tulips to warm the soul, what more can you ask for, thanks xo

Those are lovely! Although winter is beautiful, there’s nothing like the colour of spring flowers.
And as for spring, it’s Groundhog Day tomorrow and I’ve got my fingers crossed for no shadow. 😉
