Here’s the cute little spotted fawn that we spotted in our backyard last night at dusk. It was busy eating clover and frolicking around, until a wild turkey scared it. Then it ran back to its mom who was standing nearby. The two deer disappeared into the woods as the sun went down.

What a happy story and what a beautiful picture! I’m so glad her Mom was nearby. A much more happy story than the earlier fawn who ran into your yard, but we won’t mention that.
Kind of reminds you of our Bambi who grew up with you on the farm, doesn’t it?

I don’t know what happened to the other one but Brian found one here along the ditch bank. It was dead so I don’t know what happened to it, it was pretty far from the road to be hit. Your fawn is much, much cuter!
