I hope you’ll forgive me for the cliff-hanging last post. I wrote that post weeks ago when I was dying to tell people about my pregnancy.
We found out we were expecting on July 5, 2009. I’m due on March 14. Everything is good, all the tests results have come back favorable, and everyone is excited about this first grandchild on each side of the family. Congratulations! I was trying to catch up on some blog reading and I guess it was a good night to check in. It’s funny, I remember reading a post about veggies and dip a while back that you had written noting that you were trying to eat healthy for several reasons, and I thought then that you might be expecting a little one, guess I was right!

AMEN!!!!! The news is finally out in the open and us grammies can come out of the closet. We are all so excited about this little blessing in our lives and Ed and Abbie, I know you are going to be terrific parents. We will do our best to be the proudest and best grandparents this little one will have. It feels so good to have reached that elite level of being grandparents, can it get any better than this. Waiting 5 years is just what we did too many years ago! We built our house first before starting our family. We then had our first daughter in March of 1983!
