Introduce Yourself!

Today is National Delurking Day! That means if you’ve been visiting and have never commented, please introduce yourself!

I love the online community that blogging has introduced me to, and I’d love to meet you and maybe even visit your blog.Β  So please speak up!

  2. You’re a regular in my Reader, but I don’t think I’ve commented or introduced myself. Love following your journey as we wait for our journey to lead us to our farm.

I’m in Grand Rapids, MI and an AmeriCorps*VISTA. I love reading about reusing things, crafts, food, and such. It helps me come up with new ideas and I love it. Thanks for the little peek into your life.

I have been a regular reader of your blog for sometime but never commented. I found it when I was looking for pie crust recipes. Yours is the perfect recipe, I always get compliments on the crust of my pies.

  8. Hi,

Been around intermittently for a while.

Good Luck in this new year.

    Kind Regards

  9. Wow! What a nice response from “lurkers,” kind of a negative connotation for what sounds like a wonderful group of readers!

So, there’s actually a “De-lurking Day,” or did you just make that up? Ha ha!

  10. Hi!

I have never commented on this blog but I recently commented on the blog about your pregnancy.

  11. Hi!
I don’t think I’ve ever commented either.. but I love reading your blog, especially the food posts. I made your butternut squash soup in the fall and it was delicious!

  15. I know I’ve commented, but I just wanted to say hello and tell you that I love the blog. I didn’t know about “de-lurking day” either!!!

  16. Mary

  17. I’ve been reading your blog for about a year and have really enjoyed it. Your “De-lurking” comment struck me funny. Let’s fact it, aren’t most writers “lurkers”? We watch and we write and we like to stay on the sidelines;)

    • Laurie, that’s the name of the day, I didn’t come up with it!

And, maybe it’s because I’m not a “real” writer (whatever that means…) but I’m not a sidelines kind of gal. If I visit a blog I can’t keep my mouth shut or my fingers off the keyboard πŸ™‚

  18. Hi Abbie! I love your blog and reading about your farm, but have only commented once or twice. Just stopping by to un-lurk myself!

  19. alisa

I live up toward Hartford way and I love your blog-and I think I may have posted once or twice-but here I am officially de-lurking!! (love that word)

  20. Read your posts regularly but I don’t think I’ve commented before. I blog occasionally about family, life with sheep and chickens, spinning and knitting and trying to reduce our family’s footprint on the world. Thanks for allowing us a peek into your world.

  25. Hi, Abbie!

My name is Alicia – a 30-something small-town girl from southeastern Connecticut.

I have been reading your blog for awhile, but have never commented before. Thanks for the peak into your life :). I love the recpies you have posted thus far.

I also have a blog, but nothing much has been posted since my surgery.

  26. Hello! I love reading your blog but I am a very inconsistent blog reader and an even more inconsistent blog commenter, both here and everywhere else. I’m in my early 40s and live with my husband and 10yo son right outside of DC. You always inspire us!

    • Thanks a lot! It’s great to hear that I inspire you because you girlies at the Green Phone Booth are very inspiring to me. I have a feeling I’ll be going back to re-read all the posts about parenting in a few months!

  27. Jan

Happy belated delurking day! Delurking Day is a clever idea.
My name is Jan and I’ve been visiting your site and enjoying looking at your photos of your farm, animals, flowers, and of course the food.
I really dig that you don’t take things for granted and make the most of many things. Your blog is a pleasure to read. I wish you well.
