This week, Ed’s mom started working on the mural in the nursery. No paint yet, all pencil drawings. Here’s a sneak peek at what she’s done so far.

She must be a good artist – those look awesome! Can’t wait to see them with paint!
Very nice, but, er, um , where’s the goat?
Haha! Sheep are in the works, I’m not sure about a goat…
Those are going to be FABULOUS when they’re done!
What a talent she is. Your baby is going to be blessed in so many ways.
You need to reward her with pie! BTW I nominated you for a Kreativ Blogger award!
I just LOVE Wilbur! He looks true to character: friendly, naive, and sweet! How fortunate that your little one will be able to share in your love of the animals of Charlotte’s Web through Mimi’s talents!
The horse even looks like one of your Percherons . . . perhaps it can be even painted dapple gray?
Kudos to you, Marie! BEAUTIFUL!
Ruth (The “other grandmother!”)
Whoops! My last comment came out under your name, Abbie. . . obviously, you were recently hacking into my computer!
Funny, I was just going to accuse you of hacking MY account!
Ooooooooohhhh! I just LOVE it! Can’t wait to see the final painting!
This is going to be beautiful! Such a lucky baby to have such an involved and crafty family surrounding it!
What a talented lady!

I keep thinking the same thing.
My daughter (the one who will be induced this Sunday night if her baby doesn’t get the show on the road before then) AND her husband are talented musically. She can’t sing worth a stitch, while HE can, but they both play numerous musical instruments and their house contains many musical instruments. I’m hoping that the musical genes are recessive so any/all children they have share the trait.
Can’t wait to see the finished nursery, Abbie.
Wow, those are so pretty! I bet the finished mural will be amazing.
